Become an Affiliate - Bitify

Thank you for being a part of the bitify community and for your interest in partnering with us. Before you go ahead and submit your details for review, there are few things we would like to clear up.

Submission: Submitting your application to the affiliate program does not guarantee its approval. All submissions are subject to review and bitify reserves the right to accept or decline any application.

Reward: Our affiliate system rewards our partners in two ways..

1. Registrations: Affiliates are rewarded $10 in BTC for every new user that registers with bitify via their referral URL. To qualify for the reward, the new user must complete* a sale or purchase through the site of at least $10 in value, within their first 6 months.  Rewards for new registrations will be capped at 25 registrations per week per affiliate.
2. Purchases and Sales: In addition to the above, we reward the affiliate 1% of the value of anything that user buys or sells on the site during their first 6 months.   For example if a user signs up and buys an item for 2 BTC and completes the sale* (details below), the referring affiliate would receive 0.001 BTC for the registration plus 0.02 BTC (1%) for the purchase awarded to their account.   If that same user user where then to post an item for sale and it is subsequently bought and the sale completes*, the referring affiliate receives 1% of the total sale price of the item.

Payments: Reward payments will be made to the affiliates nominated Bitcoin address on a weekly basis, each Monday during Sydney office hours. Payments are awarded for new registrations and for completed* sales only. *Completed Sales: Completed sales are defined as those where the buyer (or a member of bitify support) has released money from escrow to the seller.  Cancelled and refunded transactions will not be awarded.

Referral Tracking:

• Cookie Tracking: bitify uses cookies to track the registration of new users via affiliates referral URL. As such, we can only award affiliates for referrals for uses that have cookies enabled.  When an affiliate URL is clicked, a cookie is stored in the users browser for a  maximum of of 7 days.  If the user subsequently signs up to the site within 7 days, the affiliate will be rewarded if the user makes a qualifying sale or purchase within 6 months.   If the user signs up after the 7 days duration, it will not be counted as an affiliate signup.  If the users clicks a new affiliate URL within the 7 days duration, the old cookie is replaced with the new one and the 7 days duration is reset in favor of the new cookie.
• IP Address Tracking: The IP addresses of all new users will be logged and cross checked to confirm that the seller/buyer/affiliate do not originate from the same IP address.  Affiliates will not be awarded for referrals where we have determined that they have shared the same IP addresses whilst accessing the site.

How to use the referral URL? Each affiliate is assigned a unique referral URL something like https://bitify.com/?referral=5c7fa0cd9a065.   Affiliate partners can use this URL for banner advert links (supplied below) on their own websites, in blog posts, in profile signatures (supplied below) on community forums, or any other means that they wish to share it.

Reserved Rights:  bitify reserves the right to refuse to award affiliates for referrals if we suspect that any attempt has been made to manipulate or cheat the referral process.  This includes, but is not limited to, faking / spamming registrations and buying/selling through alternate accounts.   In this event, bitify reserve the right to suspend or ban your affiliate account and you will forfeit any unpaid rewards that you might have accumulated.  bitify reserves the right to change the amounts or terms of affiliate rewards or suspend the affiliate program at any time.
